From the mountain station of the cable car, it first goes to Chiematte. If you wish, you can have a small refreshment here before continuing the hike. Then across alpine meadows to the Kelchbach and then a short ascent to the Nessjeri Suone.
The “Nessjeri” was first mentioned in 1477 and starts at 2,140 meters at the Kelchbach. At first it runs with hardly noticeable slope on a balcony opposite the Aletsch Glacier to Nessel and then rushes down as a foaming stream.
Once you arrive at Nessel, it’s time to rest and enjoy the panorama. The path back leads below the suone to Alpe Bäll and from there back to the starting point of the hike.
