The hike begins in the old village part of Naters, directly at the church square. Around the ossuary, you circle the church and turn right at the first junction towards Hegdornweg. At the historical 'Totenplatte' in Naters from 1685, the path turns right up Steel Street until the Bellavista bus stop. There you cross Blattenstrasse and continue on the right between the houses. From Steel Street onward, the signposts are clearly visible and make navigation easier. A special highlight is the Trämel Chapel, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view towards Simplon-Termen-Ried-Brig. The end of the Massa gorge is also located right next to the chapel. Afterwards, the path continues over rocky sections with steps to Geimen. Since the slope is facing south, the air in summer emanates the pleasant scent of juniper and resin. Just before Bitschji Lake, you pass the St. Laurentius Chapel where there is a perfectly equipped barbecue area. The path now continues towards Geimen. Upon reaching Geimen, follow the main road towards Blatten for about five minutes before turning right into Blindtälli. The atmosphere in Blindtälli is simply mystical. A small river called Bruchji flows through the forest, providing a lovely cooling off in summer. Of course, your culinary needs should not be neglected in Blindtälli: you can picnic or barbecue at one of the available grilling spots. Well-fortified, follow the path towards Blatten to Reka Village, where you will cross the parking lot and reach the valley station of the Belalp cable cars as well as the bus stop.

Despite the "impossible to lose" marking of the hiking trails, we always recommend having an appropriate hiking map with you for safety reasons, so that you can quickly find a safe area in case of a thunderstorm or an emergency.
Especially in autumn, it is also important to note that the leaves lying on the ground can cover unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path. After storms, trees can still fall or branches can break off afterwards. Especially in adverse weather conditions, nature paths can have muddy and slippery sections. You must expect such path impairments when taking a hike.
Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. Sure-footedness is sometimes required. If you think certain path sections are not passable for you, you should avoid them.
Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, sun and rain protection, as well as a sufficient supply of food and drinks, should there be no refreshment or shopping opportunities available or open. Although the path is consistently very well marked, for safety reasons, you should always carry a suitable hiking map. Take walking sticks or other aids with you.
Varied hike over a glacier-shaped round-humped landscape, repeatedly offering great panoramic views of the Simplon region and views down to Brig. On the way, you pass the futuristic St. Laurentius Chapel, where there is a perfectly equipped barbecue area. Then through the mystical witch forest in Blindtälli to Blatten near Naters
